Yes. Silicone absorbs no water at all, which makes these patches suitable for swimwear, activewear, and outdoor gear exposed to rain, sweat, chlorine, and salt water. The patch itself will not fade, swell, or lose shape from moisture.

Silicone patches are applied by heat press, sewn through a stitch channel, or attached with hook-and-loop. Heat press is the standard for activewear and technical fabrics because it creates a permanent bond without piercing the material. We confirm the right method on your fabric before production.

A correctly made silicone patch does not crack, and it will not peel when the heat press is applied at the right temperature and pressure. Cracking usually indicates a low-grade silicone or an over-cured mold rather than normal wear.

Silicone patches require a custom mold for each design, so minimum quantities are higher than embroidery or woven. The mold is a one-time cost, which means repeat orders of the same design are notably cheaper than the first run.
