Why Choose Custom Silicone Patches

Clean Raised Detail

Clean Raised Detail

Molded silicone produces sharp raised edges and even depth that stitching cannot match.

Waterproof Durability

Waterproof Durability

Silicone absorbs no water at all, so patches hold up in rain, sweat, and chlorine.

Silicone Patches VS Embroidered Patches

Surface & Dimension

Surface & Dimension

  • Silicone Patches: Smooth molded relief with clean raised edges and consistent height across the design.
  • Embroidered Patches: Textured thread surface built from layered stitching.
Water Resistance

Water Resistance

  • Silicone Patches: Completely non-absorbent, which suits swimwear, activewear, and outdoor use.
  • Embroidered Patches: Thread holds moisture and takes time to dry after heavy exposure.
Stretch & Movement

Stretch & Movement

  • Silicone Patches: Flexes and returns with the fabric, so performance garments keep their stretch.
  • Embroidered Patches: Stitching and backing hold their shape and restrict stretch in that area.
Best Application

Best Application

  • Silicone Patches: Activewear, swimwear, caps, and technical outerwear.
  • Embroidered Patches: Jackets, uniforms, workwear, and heavyweight apparel.

Why Choose Woven Patches

A circular black rubber tactical patch featuring a mountain range, pine trees, and a winding blue river, displayed on a textured black background.

Raised Silicone Patches

The standard silicone build, with the design raised above the base in a single molded layer. Depth can be increased where a logo needs to stand out under low light or at a distance.

A round black rubber patch featuring an embossed mountain and pine tree landscape design, shown on a textured black background.

Debossed Silicone Patches

The design is pressed into the surface rather than raised from it, which produces a subtle recessed finish. Suited to monochrome branding and understated apparel labels.

A shield-shaped rubber patch featuring a golden lion holding a silver sword over a gray stone castle, set against a split red and navy blue background with a gold border, displayed on a black textured surface.

Multi-Color Layered Silicone

Separate silicone colors set in one mold to build multi-tone artwork with defined borders between each color. This is how detailed crests and full-color logos are produced in silicone.

A coordinated outdoor gear set in black and dark gray, including a baseball cap, backpack, jacket, water bottle, wrist strap, and towel, each featuring a matching hexagonal mountain patch on a dark textured background.

Brand Merchandise

Silicone patches applied across a product range so branding stays identical on every item. Common with activewear labels, fitness brands, and outdoor equipment companies.

A close-up flat lay of three athletic apparel pieces with matching dark logo patches: a black tank top, navy shorts, and a navy tank top, all shown wet with water droplets. The patches feature a wave motif inside a hexagon.

Activewear & Swimwear

The application silicone was made for. Patches stretch with technical knits and survive chlorine, salt water, and repeated washing without degrading.

Two baseball caps shown on a dark textured surface: one black cap in front with a raised mountain patch logo, and one gray cap behind it with the same logo.

Caps & Headwear

Raised silicone gives a cap front a defined, premium look, and the flexible base follows the curve of the panel without lifting at the corners.

Outdoor gear set including a black waterproof backpack, black hooded jacket, olive green pouch, black climbing harness, and carabiner, arranged on rocks with mountains in the background.

Bags & Technical Gear

Silicone resists abrasion and weather, which makes it a strong fit for backpacks, shells, harnesses, and equipment that lives outdoors.

Why Choose The Custom Patches For Custom Silicone Patches

01
A black and white line drawing of the Ferrari shield logo featuring the rearing horse emblem.

The Custom Patches builds a dedicated mold for every design, which delivers consistent depth, clean edges, and identical results across the full run. Mold quality is what separates a sharp patch from a soft one.

A classic Ferrari shield logo featuring a yellow background, a black rearing horse, and the letters 'S F' at the bottom, bordered by green, white, and red stripes.

We use quality liquid silicone and Pantone-matched pigments so colors stay accurate and the patch stays flexible for the life of the garment. Silicone grade is matched to the intended end use.

Our team provides responsive support, fast turnaround, and guidance on application methods, which helps apparel brands, teams, and manufacturers move from artwork to production without avoidable delays.

Custom Silicone Patches For Apparel

Refine your patches with a range of customization options so every design is unique. Choose your colors, surface finish, relief depth, shape, and application method.

A collection of colorful rectangular color sample swatches and two circular patches featuring a mountain topographic design, arranged on a dark surface with a color swatch fan in the background.

Colors & Pantone Matching

Silicone is pigmented before molding, so brand colors are matched at the source rather than approximated in thread. Translucent, metallic, glow in the dark, and reflective options are available.

Surface Finish & Relief Depth

Choose a matte finish for a soft, technical look or gloss for higher contrast and shine. Relief depth is set against the size of the artwork so fine elements do not lose definition.

A set of seven tactical PVC patches arranged on a dark textured background. The patches feature various designs including a mountain range, a wave with a moon, a topographic map, a wolf head, a winged sword, a howling wolf, a thin blue line American flag, and a black shield with a red lightning bolt.

Patch Shapes & Edge Precision

Because each patch is molded rather than cut, the outline can follow your artwork exactly, including thin extensions and interior cutouts. Silicone edges do not fray or need a border stitch.

Application & Backing Options

Choose heat press adhesive for a permanent bond on technical fabrics, a stitch channel for sew-on application, or hook and loop for patches that need to be swapped. We advise on fabric suitability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Silicone absorbs no water at all, which makes these patches suitable for swimwear, activewear, and outdoor gear exposed to rain, sweat, chlorine, and salt water. The patch itself will not fade, swell, or lose shape from moisture.

Silicone patches are applied by heat press, sewn through a stitch channel, or attached with hook-and-loop. Heat press is the standard for activewear and technical fabrics because it creates a permanent bond without piercing the material. We confirm the right method on your fabric before production.

A correctly made silicone patch does not crack, and it will not peel when the heat press is applied at the right temperature and pressure. Cracking usually indicates a low-grade silicone or an over-cured mold rather than normal wear.

Silicone patches require a custom mold for each design, so minimum quantities are higher than embroidery or woven. The mold is a one-time cost, which means repeat orders of the same design are notably cheaper than the first run.
